Cross Country Starts on February 16th!

We are so excited to finally be back for XC this year! If you plan to tryout for Cross Country please make sure that you read this document for all instructions. 

Be sure to have a physical on file, online registration completed, and the ATS COVID prescreen form done.(to be filled out on the day you are reporting for tryouts/practice)

Bring your own water bottle (at least 32 oz), a mask, and be ready to run!

Cross Country Update 7/27

Since the VHSL has chosen to change the order of the seasons, we will now be heading into Indoor Track first in December. This is going to create a shift in training for all of us. With that information, we will not be doing anymore team runs/workouts until we get closer to the beginning of Indoor Track. Please check back at a closer date for Indoor workouts or updates to team workouts. Until then, keep running!!

Summer Workouts

Hi Champe XC Fam! 

As we wait for the VHSL for more guidance we can start working out together this week!! In order to come to summer practices, you must have done these two things:

1) Register for Cross Country - Go to this link and register for cross country You must complete all of those forms on the website - they are all online.

2) Get your Physical - You must have a physical dated AFTER May 1, 2020. This is the only paper copy you'll need to turn in. You can email it straight to Mr. Breinig ( Here is a link to the physical. 

Summer Practice Dates:

Thursday, July 16

Tuesday, July 21

Thursday, July 23

Tuesday, July 28

Thursday, July 30

All practices will be from 8am-9am. 

For summer practices you need: running shoes, a mask (for check in), and your own water (a lot of it)

When you get to the stadium, come to the entrance closest to the discus area, coaches will take your temperature and ask you a few screening questions. We will then give you further direction about where to go on the field. Check - in will begin at 7:40am and will end at 7:55am. If you are late, you will not be able to practice
